I’m excited to share one of my favorite recipes for this delicious and nutritious banana berry smoothie bowl!

As someone who is always on-the-go, I find that smoothie bowls are the perfect breakfast or snack option. They’re easy to make, portable, and can be customized to your taste preferences. Not to mention, they’re a great way to pack in a lot of nutrients in one meal!

For this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of frozen mixed berries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • Toppings of your choice (such as sliced banana, granola, shredded coconut, or additional berries)

To start, add the frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, almond milk, vanilla protein powder, and honey to a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop the blender and scrape down the sides with a spoon to make sure everything is well blended.

Once the smoothie mixture is smooth, pour it into a bowl. Sprinkle chia seeds on top of the smoothie mixture. Then, add your toppings of choice on top of the chia seeds. I like to add sliced banana, granola, and shredded coconut for some extra crunch and flavor.

One of the great things about smoothie bowls is that you can customize them to your liking. If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can use less liquid. If you want to add some greens, you can throw in a handful of spinach or kale. The possibilities are endless!

This smoothie bowl is not only delicious, but it’s also packed with nutrients. The mixed berries are high in antioxidants and fiber, while the banana provides potassium and natural sweetness. Furthermore, the almond milk and protein powder provide a good source of protein, and the chia seeds are high in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber.

I hope you enjoy this smoothie bowl recipe as much as I do! It’s a perfect way to start your day or refuel after a long day. For more breakfast ideas, check out Breakfast Break, my post about a variety of balanced breakfasts. Get creative with your toppings and make it your own!
